Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè (/ʤë/ /vɘˈp˔ɘfɪ/ [important] [appearance (looks)]) is a temperate Town located in the G̈ifêvîlêg̈êyê Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè was founded by Gîlè Trèlë, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 17°C (62°F). Overview

Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 10th century, by Gîlè Trèlë. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Gîlè Trèlë.

Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive cobblestone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè's size could have. Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè's well-designed, yet cheep are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. On top of this is an unmistakable feeling that Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè is in this condition because there is something terribly wrong with the town. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine which makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. You may want to keep an eye on your valuables, and make sure you don’t wind up in any position of power. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Jë-vêpíêfî Dêtîkè long.

The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..
